About the Role
As a full-time Optometrist at Walsh & Bridle Opticians, you will:
Perform comprehensive 30–50 minute eye tests and contact lens assessments with standard equipment including OCT, Fundus camera, and digital testing screens.
Utilise expertise in contact lenses, including RGPs and Ortho-K.
Manage a high volume of paediatric patients, bringing a genuine passion for children’s eyecare.
Apply strong commercial awareness while ensuring patient care remains the top priority.
Collaborate with a team of 5 in a relaxed, welcoming 2-consulting-room practice.
Occasionally cover our practice in nearby East Wittering as required.
Who We’re Looking For:
Experienced Optometrist with full registration and GOC licensing (this role suits a highly experienced clinician).
Advanced skills in contact lenses (RGPs and Ortho-K).
Strong clinical background with a focus on paediatric eyecare.
Solid commercial understanding balanced with excellent patient rapport.
Willingness to work 3 out of 4 Saturdays a month.
